The Town does not offer garbage collection as a municipal service. Residents and businesses are required to make private arrangements for removal of their garbage.
The Town of Alta is committed to recycling. There are three collection trailers open 24 hours a day located on the north side of the main road down canyon from the Alta Fire Station. Website link for Alta
