Recycling in Salt Lake County
South Salt Lake
- Curbside Service: 801-483-6074
The City of South Salt Lake is offering residents a voluntary curbside recycling program. The City will be joining thousands of other communities across the nation that are conserving resources as well as land-fill space. The curbside recycle program began July 1, 2005.
Residents desiring to participate in this program will be issued a new, 95 gallon recycle container. Only residents that are currently eligible to receive regular curbside waste collection may participate in the new program.
Residents may recycle items from the approved list below. The contents of the recycle containers will be picked up at the curbside every two weeks.
