"Waste is a symptom of business inefficiency"

-Ways to be a more efficient business:

  1. Reduce the amount of material required in the production of your goods and services.
  2. Reduce the amount of energy required in the production and delivery of your goods and services.
  3. Reduce toxic emissions.
  4. Design your products to be recyclable.
  5. Maximize the use of renewable resources in the production and delivery of your products and services.
  6. Design products that are durable and easier to repair.
  7. Design products that serve multiple purposes.

Step One - Reduce

  • Minimize consumption of materials by controlling materials.

Step Two - Plan a Recycling Program

  • Organize a Recycling Committee
  • Learn about the Recycling market
  • Anticipate and meet recycling needs in employment agreements and contracts.

Plastics:  #1 and #2 containers (soda and water bottles, milk and water jugs); Paper:  corrugated cardboard, newspaper, office paper, phone books, shredded paper (bagged up), brochures, magazines;   Metals: aluminum cans, plates and pans, steel and tin cans, small appliances, cookware and utensils, scrap copper, brass and aluminum.

 Cost for NON Sony items are:

     $5.00 - small Appliances, cell phones, keyboards

     $10.00 - small TV's and monitors less than 22", DVD/VCR players, desk 

                    printers/scanners, computer towers, laptops

     $15.00 - large appliances, monitors and TV's larger than $22". 

We cannot accept any wood consoles or cabinets and the total weight of any item must be less than 50 lbs. to be accepted.

Checks or credit cards only will be accepted at the sites.
